The US military has strict standards in facial hair which is not too big of a surprise.

But one thing that military members can have are mustaches.

There are some strict rules for mustaches and they must be maintained very neatly though.

美國軍隊對每位軍官大兵的面貌穿著有相當嚴格的標準，

這是眾所皆知的，每件制服都要燙得比電線桿還挺

但其中一個特例是，軍中成員可以留鬍子，這酷了吧！

哎呀！但留鬍子仍有其崮中嚴格標準，可以留但要留得好看有型並且要乾淨！

鬍子的標準, 羅賓奧茲稍稍地太長😅但還是大家公認地有型。

Every March, pilots and many other people will grow out their mustaches for mustache march.

This came from honoring one of the most legendary fighter pilots named Robin Olds.

Leadership in the military can be very strict and Robin Olds was constantly rebelling against them.

During the Vietnam War, he defied them by growing out his mustache beyond the limits.

He said this was the way he could show them the middle finger without actually doing it.

Today this tradition is celebrated as a good hearted way to protest the strict rules.

每年三月，機師們通常都會特地不刮鬍子，讓生理毛法從臉部放肆地自由成長👨🏻‍🦰

這為了要紀念一位傳奇的戰鬥機飛行員叫做羅賓·歐茲，就是照片裡那位老大哥！

他越戰中，他靠精湛的經驗漂亮地獲得了17場勝利

同時也持續蓄鬍他的鬍子，

在1960年代比較保守的時代，在軍中留鬍子是不被允許的

他說：『這是一種想要比凸卻不帶動作的表現方式』

說髒話不帶髒字，打人不動手概念XD。

現今，這個傳統被來用來慶祝及紀念“被譽為抗議不爽規則的好方法”。

Being the month of march naturally pilots and airmen all around the world are participating with their own mustaches.

Of course all are supposed to follow the regulations but I’m sure many wish to grow theirs out like Robin Olds.

At the end of mustache march usually pilots will have a roll call and there will be a contest to see who has the best mustache.

The rule is that you have to shave right before March starts.

Some people are so competitive that they will even dye or try to make their mustaches look more amazing.

Not everyone can be a winner so there might be some other categories such as the lawman (like the old western sheriff mustache) or baby face (barely a mustache).

Even women are encouraged to participate and can win the category miss stache.

每當三月一到，世界各地的飛行員自然會帶著自己驕傲的鬍子去參加比賽。

那這比賽是有什麼規範呢？🤔

我相信應該都是照著羅賓·歐茲的行去長的吧！

規則：要確保你在三月開始之前就已經刮好鬍子

有些很好勝的飛行員會三八地染鬍子為鬍子上色😂

並非每個人都能成為贏家

大家出奇招有些人刻意設計

例如律師（如古老的西部警長鬍子）或娃娃臉（幾乎沒有鬍子）

甚至鼓勵女性飛行員也一同參加，有鬍子先生當然也可以有“鬍子小姐”。
